Over the course of her career, LaToya Whatley worked alongside countless individuals who were quietly struggling, not because help wasn't available, but because they simply didn't know it existed. She watched people carry burdens alone that didn't have to be carried alone and that stayed with her.
Life Connections was born out of that experience. LaToya recognized that knowledge and access are not equally distributed, and that for many people, the biggest barrier between where they are and where they need to be is simply not knowing where to turn. She built Life Connections to close that gap.
Drawing on years of professional experience and a network of community resources, LaToya brings both the knowledge and the genuine care to walk alongside people in their most difficult seasons. Her goal is simple: no one who reaches out should leave without a clearer path forward.
Everyone deserves to know that help is out there and that someone is willing to help them find it.
Life Connections exists for anyone navigating a challenging season, and the people who walk alongside them. Our resources and guidance are designed to serve a wide range of individuals and circumstances, including:

Is this service really free?
Yes, completely. Life Connections is committed to making support accessible to everyone, regardless of income or circumstances. There is no cost to book a consultation or access our resources.
I am not sure my situation qualifies. Should I still reach out?
Please do. Life Connections serves a broad range of needs and circumstances. If we cannot help directly, we will connect you with an organization or program that can. No situation is too small or too complicated to bring to us.
I am trying to help someone else find support. Can I reach out on their behalf?
Absolutely. Caseworkers, family members, advocates, and community organizations are welcome to reach out on behalf of someone who needs support. We are here to help however we can.
What happens after the consultation?
Based on your conversation, we will connect you with the relevant resources, programs, or services that fit your needs. We follow up to make sure you have what you need and that nothing falls through the cracks.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Everything you share during your consultation is kept confidential. We create a safe, judgment-free space for every person who comes to us.
